90k Errors & Lag

Hi,

Okay last night I logged on (after having played with perfect ease the night before) and started experiencing disconnection error codes. At first it was 90k, then I think I had 2002?

I've noticed also that the log in screen takes longer to load (sometimes I have to reload the client). I've logged on tonight and am still experiencing the 90k's within about 5 minutes of being logged on, and the lag started for the first time tonight (music not loading, actions not responding etc.).

Any idea what could be causing this? I've played for the past 3 weeks with no issues at all.

I'm playing on PS3 btw.

I'm getting the same problem, I just came back to the game after 6 months and I can't even play it. It's so bad that I can time when exactly it will disconnect. It's usually around the 12 minute mark... I'm almost regretting paying for it. Seriously Square wtf is going on?

I've been 90k'd a couple of times this morning and the lag on Phoenix is terrible D:

It got worse for me today, it only stopped last night at 2 AM now its 3:58 PM and its disconnecting every 5 minutes instead of 15.

Perhaps this might help any one else.

It's been as of this past week and a half that I've been getting absurd lag. DC symbol pops up as often as every couple minutes, I can't do dungeons because i'll lag out and can't perform any actions, yet I can still talk to whoever is in the dungeon. Occasionally I'll get 90k'd but it's mostly in-game lag. Using abilities and spells, such as Swiftcast, would pop the spell, it'll go on cooldown, but it won't be activated. Same thing with others like Raging Strikes or Aetherflow or Fester, they'll all go on CD but won't actually activate so I'm stuck with a CD and no ability. I have tried everything I possibly could, I even unplugged my router and left it off for a few hours just for it to still be doing the same thing when I get back on. I'm hearing other people are getting this same issue, but maybe not as often as I am. It's seriously hindering my gameplay to a point where I can't get anything done and I don't even want to be on because it's incredibly frustrating. I LOVE this game and everything it's about, but I can't keep playing like this. I'm on PS3 and before Christmas I had absolutely no issues whatsoever. People say it's the DDoS contributing to it, which partially may be true, but 2 weeks and counting? Something's not right. PLEASEEEEE fix this.

Same issue but then on PC, it all started with the latest Update. Random Lag spikes throughout the game / instances followed by a 90K error.. Cerberus Server

Had some rough lag in Expert Daily (Qarn HM) tonight the likes of which I haven't seen for nearly a year. Route is showing an extra 1/8th second in response times at both Atlanta and Albany on Cogentco's segments. Was making my server latency run from it's normal 50-70ms times to around 120-330ms. While those numbers may seem normal for some of you guys, it was wreaking havoc with my timing on BLM--having your delays go to 3x normal or worse can screw with rotations. Made Empress a royal pain in the arse.

It's 8PM Eastern atm... if it keeps up and TWC doesn't alter the route automatically like they've been doing for a while now, I'll have to open a trouble ticket with them for the first time in almost 6 months. Just hope I don't land on Level3 segments again. It always goes to crap within a week or two and we have to get it changed again.
