Working -True- Full Screen With Dual Monitor and no DirectX Error (Sort of Fix)

Hokay. So, I got FF14 working in Full Screen Mode, with dual monitors. No Direct X crash. I will say up front that I cheated, this is not a fix - it is very much a work-around, and it will not work with anyone that does not have two computers.

The short of the long is that there is a program out there called "Synergy" that allows you to set up one machine as a server, and the others as clients. You are then able to use one keyboard and mouse on multiple computers without an expensive KVM switch. It is, in fact, essentially a software KVM.

There are some things you have to do, however, to set up that I am not going to explain right now (don't have the brain power). I'll try and provide details later, but no promises.

Requirements / Configurations:
Multiple Computers (any number), each with their own monitor
Windows XP/Vista/7/OSX/Ubuntu
Static IP address (I am using the 192.168.xxx.xxx set without problem)
-In Windows this means you must specify your DNS servers manually
Configure the server on the computer with the keyboard / mouse
Configure the server with the option to prevent focus change to client computers (this will prevent the Cannot Detect Direct X error when you mouse onto the second monitor)
Configure the client on every other computer

Please note, only the newest beta version for windows has an intuitive GUI for server configuration. The older "Stable" version and the non-windows versions have a less intuitive setup. There is a good user-made walkthrough for the 1.4 beta version which works just fine.

What his program does not do:
It does not in any way shape or form create a "Windower" for FF14. It has absolutely nothing to do with 14. It doesn't interface with 14 or anything. ALL it does is network your mouse and keyboard to multiple computers.

You also cannot drag a window from one computer to the other - you are actually running one computer on one monitor, and another computer on another monitor. You just happen to be able to move your mouse cursor across multiple computers.

What this means:
You actually run 14 on one computer (in my case the server) in full screen mode. If you ALT+tab you will still crash with a Direct X error. You have access (without remote desktop) to your other computer(s).

Its not ideal, but it does work. Hope this helps some people.
