I know that The letter says it all and says everything im about to say, However I'm just breaking it down (to the best of my Abilities) from what I saw in PR Letter! ( Highlighting the most important ones to my viewing feel free to add the things you like to see that I haven't listed!)
Quests
- Dangers of Eorzea Quests

- Grand Company Quests ( Head of the GC's Will have speeches of sorts whatever that means lol)
New Content
Ifrit Battle
- Battles for R30 and R50 ( hmm.. Something Simular to XI? or perhaps the Dungeon related?)

- System Implemented ( Will be accessible at Level 20)

- This Dungeon will be Public ( Not instanced) ( have fun you R50 *try not to overdue yourself you could possibly drive away people that want to play the game :P* thats just me of course teehee)
Treasure chests will be out in the open field at Random
(Wonder how this will work.. lol)
Mount Transportation System
- Rental and Calling your very own Chocobo
- Grand Company Related Chocobos! ( this is 1 of the many things i'm interested in)
- Airships Linking the 3 City-States ( how they will Rotate to the Nations is up in the Air.. Perhaps Gridania to Ul'dah Stops there *pick up more passengers* then go to Limsa, and Vise Verse?
Grand Companies
- More Ranks to obtain
- "Replenishment objectives" ( I wonder what they mean by that..)
Misc
- Redistribution of Enemies in 6 areads ( Which Areas? or perhaps new areas?) Curious
- Class~Specific Motions to Auto Attack ( I want to spin my Lance above my head!)
- Physical Levels Gone ( Ranks will be referred to as Levels *I like that actually)
- Materia System
- DOL getting some sort of Stealth Ability
- Algorithms Revisions
All that I mentioned which is a good 85% of that List I'm looking forward too and this patch is going to be 3-5 times bigger than 1.18? that list seems to be hold back on some things if that's the case. However, im not complaining This looks to be the best patch yet and 1.20 seems to be even better than 1.19! FFXIV is shaping up really well Way to go Yoshida and the Team!

I'm wondering if they are going to make the Raids teared like wow does to where you need gear from the last to be able hang with the next raid. What do you think?

I think "world quests" is always the most vague thing they put in information they give us. Will they add random quests that actually have cutscenes and interesting stories? Will they actually turn the little outposts into "quest hubs" to help players on their first class progress? Or will we get five of the same boring quests (albeit with humorous dialogue) with generic "kill 10 gnats" objectives like last patch?
They mentioned before that they will be Grand Company related somehow.Quote:

I thought this was interesting too. Leviathan and Titan are the only others that are already in the game. Yet Leviathan's associated beastmen tribe (sahagin) has yet to make an appearance so it would be hard to make a story out of it. Likewise Titan himself hasn't even appeared at all to my knowledge, and no one knows who would summon him, he's just in the files. Maybe Titan is worshipped by the kobolds and they'll feature in the next patch? They do have a bunch of rocks in their encampments.Quote:

I think the Japanese version is much clearer on this, since every time it mentions the strongholds they are "titled" with the phrase used for instances/raids (攻略型フィールド).Quote:

Kind of disappointed in this myself; I was hoping for something like the Aht Urhgan beastmen areas in FFXI, where the majority is a public dungeon but deep inside is a battlefield for the Astral Candescence, except instead of a small battlefield we could have a whole "raid dungeon" section. Oh well.
It refers to replenishment of military supplies like munitions, rations, etc. My guess is it will be continuous, repeatable content for Grand Companies, either to control their capabilities somehow or just to give us a way to get more seals that can be redone. Just a guess though.Quote:

Titan is the Kobold's primal. It's stated somewhere in the storyline or from NPC's (im not sure where but I've seen it before I took a break from the game for a few months) and their WS's have Titan in the name.
