A question regarding PSM Network having been down for days

According to this http://www.brashgames.co.uk/2014/12/...or-psn-outage/ as well as this http://www.brashgames.co.uk/2014/12/...n-back-online/ which basically states that “Sony will be offering two free games from an unspecified list for Playstation 4, Playstation 3 or Playstation Vita titles to PlayStation Network members as part of its apology for the Playstation Network Outage over the Christmas Period”.

“In addition Playstation Plus members will receive a small credit to their Playstation Plus accounts plus free access to its premium service Music Unlimited for a month. Non PlayStation Plus members will receive a months trial to Playstation Plus and Music Unlimited"

My question is: Is this true at all?

Wait till a SONY official says it, rumor till its said.

Yeah that's what I figured too. Just thought it is odd how some gaming news site seemed to have heard it before those of us playing on PS3/4. Thanks anyways^^

It's entirely possible it will happen; last time Sony had a major outage they gave away much the same.

That said don't actually get excited until there's a confirmation.

only psn + members so I have read anyone who has a ps3 without gets diddly squat I think.

your reading comprehension is bad. ps plus members get a bit more, but everyone gets the games.

I wouldn't trust anything from the 'PSM Network' if I were you. Just sayin'

Yeah no I haven't recieved any mails at all from Sony, and both myself and another family member are playing on PS4.
