Odd sound/video issue

Randomly Final fantasy started having these odd color patterns appear on the sides of the screen that are moving to the sounds in the game. No other game does this and muting the sound in Final Fantasy stops the issue. Also the color changes to red when receiving a tell and orange when I open the menu. I have tried to restart twice and it hasn't helped. I really don't know what to do here. If I left anything out just ask. Pics included
