even i90 should be fine to be tradable,
less rng on older stuff
So either having higher level friends getting the gear for you while you're doing nothing, or that you'd be able to buy them on the market for more than they should be sold for?
I'm all for helping newer players that are working on gearing up, but isn't that what a FC is about? Helping each other?
honestly, what i would like more is a rework of the need greed system
for example
say you have both whm and pld leveled up to 50, but youre in a dungeon as pld
you come across a chest that drops some gear that is of higher or equal ilevel to the slot your whm has equiped (so say you have healer's boots on, and the chest contains Blessed Espadrilles)
now, since you would actually have a need for those, you should be allowed to roll need on it
of course, if the party's healer was also in need of it, he should have higher priority, but as it stands now, someone in need of gear for a job theyre not currently on is treated no differently from someone who wouldnt even be able to equip the gear, or even worse from someone who rolls need on gear thats 40 item levels lower than what theyre using (seriously why the hell do people roll need on gear that they dont even remotely need. its so greedy and inconsiderate)
That's like adding another layer of need on top of need, why not just disable need if person's average ilv is above the item in roll by xx amount.
Too many small size FC now with no high level crafter, especially when there's a massive crafting wall around ilv55. Once a new fish hit lv50, all they need to do is grind some soldiery to slot all their accessories thanks to noob bonus. Then get their zennith, and start farming CT/ST, all in 1 or 2 days work anyways.
I rarely run into players who get dungeon gears for anything but glamour. Most of them go for tome gears and primal/raid(CT/ST) gears.
