Cash Shop question!

I am on the Mog Station looking around but I can't seem to find an option for this... Is there any whatsoever way to purchase an optional item and instead send it to a friend's account rather than your own?

I wanted to gift a friend with a cash shop minion, but it's only allowing me to send it to my own characters. I was hoping for a code I could give to my friend...!

It's a real shame if this isn't possible. Cash Shop seems like a good thing to use on Christmas for friends to the other side of the world.

No, and i hope they never implement it, it would give the players more option to buy gil.

I'm not sure if you can buy crysta prepaid cards, sending it to a friend it would be a good option.

I guess I'll just buy dyes and craft something nice for him to use it on. Such a shame though...
