Chocobo Question and Request

Please allow us to turn in local leves and accept turn in quests from our chocobo. The only exception should be leves and behests. Would be nice to rent my chocobo and head out to the different camps to turn in locals and not have to hop off.

No just be able to turn in leves to the camp NPC, then turn around and ride off to my next camp. Would be nice to take a chocobo from Ul'dah and ride up into Coertes to Owl's nest or something, start a quest and then ride to the dungeon

I'd definitely be for this. I'd also be for making all crafting leves give you the materials upon accepting the leve, not just some.

You can raise your own Chocobo you know, Company issued ones. Rent-a-Chocobo is only for lowbie.

I don't how how feasible this is, but it would be really nice if you are able to dismount from your chocobo and maybe have like a set time before it would run off(wouldn't want to have riderless chocobos all over the place) so that you can freely walk around or go turn in local leves, do quests and/or kill mobs and be able to hop back on again and be on your way. Just an idea.

Not raise, per se. Grand Companies will probably sell you a chocobo for Seals.

They haven't revealed a chocobo-raising system yet.

Just to throw this in here, but I read they were making it so you can walk next to your chocobo's. I assume your "own" chocobo however. This will allow you to ride up, jump off, and turn in those leves, then ride off. =]

Ah I get you, so something like having a Dismount and a Dismiss option.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how Chocobos will play a role in our game aside from transportation, especially if fighting on one or alongside one is one of the things the devs have been hinting at! And watching the old FFXIV trailer with the Chocobo carrying a lot of packs, it'd be wonderful if they can act as another storage option on the road.

armored chocobos just scream mounted combat. but that's just speculation. Would be cool to have mounted combat for the caravan escorts.
