Yep same for me ... I have a GeForce GTX 850M. With the old version (344.75) i have ~40-50 fps and with the new one (347.09) ~15 fps ... no comment, I wait for the next version ... ;(
I had an issue with the driver and gefore experience released in november making my SweetFX configuration simply freeze the game upon launch ("FF14.exe stopped working") so I had to uninstall those and get back to an older version.
I was reading posts on their nvidia forums about how many errors and crashes people had with several games.
I would suggest you to downalod an earlier driver, uninstall the gfx driver, ccleaner the regisry and everything, reboot and install the older one you downloaded.
I've not had any issues. Did you do a clean install?
You look and any driver will have people complaining about problems even if it's not down the driver; you don't see people posting when they don't have issues.
There's no need to run these registry cleaning programs when you install any release of an nVidia driver select custom and you can select which part you want to install, i.e. no 3D vision crap, and you can opt for a clean installation.
I'll bite. 660ti Win8 64bit no issues here with latest drivers, last drivers, drivers from months ago, last years drivers, ect. If these drivers aren't working, just stick with the last ones that did. You don't really ever gain too much from driver updates, especially if you are not using a brand new card.
EDIT: Also run OC software and SweetFX
I haven't installed new drivers because well these work fine, unless I see something new added to the drivers that I need support on I really don't care.
Though if I do I actually do clean installs this way I don't have corruption.
I updated my drivers this weekend to this version and I have no problems whatsoever.
OP, are you running any graphic enhancement software like SweetFX on your machine? Maybe that is the problem, not the driver.
