I've been trying to get on Balmung for abit now, but its always full, and i dont feel like there will be a chance to get in at all. Or is there certain times to actually make a new account to join the server? I dont know. Hopefully someone can help me here, i dont fancy paying money just to get onto the realm :confused:
Servers have character creation locks in order to distribute the population across all worlds more evenly, as well as reduce overpopulation on a single world that comes with the nasty side effect of server stress (more lag for everyone). In a nutshell, Balmung (and a few other servers) are cups that are filled to the brim. It's only when enough people transfer off the world when those small windows of creation open up. At this point in order to play on Balmung, you can to start convincing people to stop playing on Balmumg.
I know a few people who are waiting for friends. My advice to them is to have their friends make characters on a different world and then transfer to join them (there are still a ton of servers with room for players).
Alright thanks, that does make sense, i guess i'll just stick to odin and keep trying now and again, that might work, but i wont get my hopes up hehe ^^'
Depending on your time zone, character creation opens up for very brief windows of time. For me, specifically in the EST time zone (-05:00 GMT), I have to wait until around 3 to 5 AM before character creation opens.
