Just do some fates and your hunting logs. You'll get the levels in no time, plus there's always the leve quests which you'll find in the inns in the major cities for that level. Hope that helps.
Leves, Fates, Hunt logs in no particular order.
Your hunting log EXP bonuses and the first couple class quests will almost push you to 11 or so on their own, especially if you stop and grab any FATEs that pop up while you do them. The northern sections of Middle and Lower La Noscea have level-appropriate FATEs if you're looking.
Once you hit 10-11, head over to Western La Noscea - that's pretty much the go-to area for FATE farming up to level ~18, and if you do so mid-day you're almost certain to find other people doing them too you can tag along with. You can also do your first two Guildhests again as a tank for a nice EXP bonus (they give it to each class on first clear as said class)
