Housing Subdivisions
Why are we getting treated like second rated residents? :(
We have no ferry NPCs to take us to the city, we cannot walk out of the area to exit the residential area.
And with Xmas event, we have no quest NPCs in the subdivisions. It is pointless to be putting up the starlight sentinels in our yards as no one will go to subdivision to do their quests.
Can we have the perks of the regular wards?

I was equally disappointed by this when I ported to my home. Not sure if this was intentional, an oversight, or just how coding the wards works.

I was really disappointed about this as well. I just don't understand the reasoning for not adding the event NPC's in the subdivisions considering they're an exact mirror of the original ward, only rotated. I'm hoping this was a simple oversight. It just seems really unnecessary that despite living right next to what would be the event area, you still have to take an aetheryte to go to the original ward to find the NPC's.
It'd be really nice and much appreciated if this could be hotfixed.

Yes please! Why is it intentionally difficult to travel to and from the subdivisions? I feel like I'm being punished for not being able to afford a house earlier. :/ Please make them equal, it's only fair.

...or just not doing subdivisions alltogether. There is no reason to present the housing areas this way, especially as the maps are identical (yeah ok they are rotated...)
Coding-wise, sure, make it however, but the end user has no reason to see things this way... No excuse except sloppy implementation.

Subdivisions really are terrible... I'm actually hesitant to even buy a House at this point just because I don't really want to be in a subdivision given all the mess surrounding them... They were just awfully implemented and now they're continuing to make a mess of them with new content... They should have just been additional Wards, I don't care if they occupy the same zone as existing Wards, from our perspective they should seem to be whole new, and completely identical, Wards.

I agree. Cost wise, SE charged the same amount of gil for houses in the subdivision but yet treat the subdivision as second rate citizens. I was disappointed when I noticed that the xmas event only took place in the main wards...
We paid the same amount of gil as players in the main ward and so we should be getting the same treatment.

Because subdivisions = sloppy "fix" and not a solution to the confused mess that is housing.
-
Yep, I thought this was frustratingly weird too. Mind you, I love the subdivision house I got and it's near a shard, so that helps... but still, it makes no sense that these housing wards are missing such basic things. I'm hoping a dev will clarify. I was VERY disappointed about the lack of event stuff as well. Why bother to get a tree? :(

Throwing in, I agree. This is very very annoying.
