Not sure if anyone encountered this issue yet,but ever since the new patch came out,one of my classes and it's my main (monk)has been bugged.It claims im not range though I can literally be WITHIN the boss/fiend and it will not register it as in range. I can still be my healing/tanking classes just not MONK/other dps classes or any moves related with DOTs or attacking. What to do~?
Hello, sounds like you turned off auto face target.
Yeah, definitely the "Auto face target when using action" option unchecked (At Character Configuration under "Target" tab).
Oh that would make sense,had to turn it off for t7 cause heals. Thanks so much guys~ Didn't think it would affect it to that point.
Just like you can dodge attacks by some enemies by running behind them during the cast, you'll miss them if they are behind you (or move behind you during your cast).
I just made an macro to toggle it off and on when I'm healing or DPSing. Makes it easier than going through the settings every time I change classes.
All you need is /autofacetarget
You can also separate it into "/autofacetarget on" and "/autofacetarget off" so you can let yourself know which one you have active (via /echo command).
