Novus upgrade to Nexus question

I just got my novus weapon "Soul attunement complete!"

I must be really thick because I can't figure out now how to actually get the weapon upgraded to Nexus. All the guides I've found just stop at explaining the lights, etc. I've been back to Jalzahn, Gerolt, etc. No joy.

Soul attunement, if i recall, only allows you to use the Zodiac Glss that is provided to see your progress.


You need to gain 2000 lights in order to upgrade it to Nexus.

Talk to Jalzahn about Soulglazed relics.

Grind content with Novus equipped. Hardmodes, Extremes, Coil, Sycrus, Frontlines, Maps give you lights on completion. Some have bonus windows for extra light. Eventually you will maximize your light and can upgrade to Nexus (check it with your Zodiac Glass).

Soul attunement complete means it's finished with the 2000 lights. I figured it out, talk to Jalzahn, select Novus Enhancement, select the weapon (I had it unequipped - don't know if that makes a difference).

There are 3 Novus selections in Jalzahns window --- One of the 3 will upgrade it
