Add Hunts to Challenge Log

Since hunts have died down somewhat, how about adding them to the Challenge Log. Something like:

Kill 10 B ranks - 1000 Gil
Kill 20 B ranks - 1000 Gil
Kill 5 A ranks - 1000 Gil
Kill 10 A ranks - 2000 Gil
Kill 2 S ranks - 4000 Gil
Kill 5 S ranks - 5000 Gil

Also maybe add like a bonus for completing all 5 of the Daily Hunts, like adding tomes or 10,000 gil. Give a little more purpose to the hunts since not many people care about them anymore.

This would make sense. I would also request that the hunts challenge, if implimented, would reward allied seals. Maybe 100 of them for doing all the hunting challenges.

There really is no reason for the B ranks to be there. It'll just cause problems with people trying to get them done for weekly and then having to fight with people trying to kill Bs for their challenge log. I'll 'Like' your post if you take off the Bs.

They could add the B and do it as kill your weekly B rank hunt.

Agreed, if the challenge log is just 'Kill your weekly mark' then yeah that's cool, but if its like the OP has it, I would have to strongly disagree. The competition for getting B rank kills would be worse than B ranks when hunts were first added and got rewards for the kill.

While their at it they could add a section for lights. If you do certain number of dungeons/trials/anything gives you a little extra light for the week, maybe like 20 or something.

Lol... umm no.

One very simple reason. B ranks spawn 5 seconds after being killed. Period. There is no wait time. There will be no lineup. There can be 100 players in a zone hunting them and everyone would still be able to get B ranks finished much quicker than waiting for A ranks or S ranks to even spawn.

Challenge logs are designed for the experience points, the gil is just an added bonus for those who are already 50.

The reason why Hunts are not part of the challenge log is because the content itself is designated for after you are 50, so for now it wouldn't really be logical to add a challenge log for Hunts since the challenge logs main aspect is extra xp boost. However when 3.0 comes around they may consider adding Hunts to the challenge log since the cap will be going up 10 levels and the ability to add an xp bonus to the hunt challenge logs would be possible.

While i agree, it seems kind of odd that there are so many challenge log entries that don't reward EXP and couldn't by design. Personally I'd like to see all the ones that reward gil only at this time also reward a small amount of allied seals, as well as the ones that DO offer exp change to allied seals at lvl 50. Make it small, only like 10-20 or so, but enough to give a bit of an incentive to run more dungeons and give commendations.
However, they probably won't anytime soon since 3.0 and the level cap increase are coming, and they'd have to rework the system AGAIN for 3.0 to adjust for lvl 60

I understand that, maybe if the max amount of B ranks to kill during the week was 7(1 a day) that's cool, but more than that, I think it will still add problems.
