Penalty when voted out
I know a lot of players have probably been voted out for reasons that aren't valid, but anyways...
Earlier today I was running Tam-tara for my relic book. We got a conjurer in the party, who would ONLY SPAM MEDICA. The dude kept running out of MP during junk mobs, and wouldn't get in the barrier during the first boss (I was a paladin at the time, so I spent the whole time recovering my MP and healing the two lancers I was with).
When the amount of time needed to vote kick someone out passed, we voted the healer back.
Only for them to REJOIN and say 'STUPID PARTY MUST BE DISBANDED .' and they continued to screw up the rest of our run. We couldn't even finish the dungeon with someone who wouldn't bother to pay attention to the auto translate I was saying to them.
Stop! Medica
Cure Please use it.
And they only continued to use Medica, even when the other people in the party used it. And eventually we couldn't vote kick them anymore, and were stuck with them, only to be dead ended in the dungeon.
So honestly I'd love to see something where players have to wait like 5 minutes before they can jump back in to another dungeon.

I've seen this happen far too many times, where you get someone intent on screwing people around, and are generally unpleasant. They get kicked, they immediately rejoin.
It'd be nice to see something done about it, like a 5 minute wait time. It's not so punishing to players who were wrongly kicked by such people, but it is enough to hopefully not get the same player joining right after being kicked.

The system is really really daft with disruptive players being able to rejoin when kicked. Had a dzamael darkhold run months ago that i remember clearly due to one of the party delibertaly disrupting the run, getting kicked twice, and rejoining both times. Something isnt quite right with this system.
Best thing to do with the player you had in the run is to report them to the GM team and hopefully something will be done about it :)

This needs to be a thing. I can remember so many times that people would join dungeons and intentionally screw them up just for 'fun'. When kicked, they'd just come right back and keep doing it -_- Please SE, make this suggestion happen, it would make people actually think twice before they start doing things like this.

Hmm, I was thinking something more along the lines of:
When kicked out, Joining an existing instance will not pick up an instance one was kicked from. (It can be the same dungeon, just not the same group).
Vote kicks within the past hour accumulate an increasing penalty. 1st vote kick = no penalty, 2nd vote kick = 1 min wait, 3rd vote kick = 5 min wait, etc...
This should be enough to protect people from disruptive players while reducing the possibility of abuse.

I agree, if someone is kicked out the DF should not put them again in the same party.
I run once as a Paladin in Tam Tara Deepcroft (Normal), and the Whitemage casted 'protect' on both of us while the DPS were new and they had the CS. She never casted protect again.
When I pulled mobs the DPSs were doing their job while my HP was getting lower and lower her Character pose changed the "idle" pose arms/hands behind her head. She cast cure when my HP was lower then 20%. I asked her to heal and cast protect, she never replied.
When time passed allowing us to kick her out she went in a flash, and got back -again?!- 10 seconds later (I figured out she was doing this duty for her Book) saying "Orly?" she came by and did the same thing, I asked her again:
Me: "can you please protect the guys and cure more frequent?",
she replied: "R u see urself dying?"
Me: "with all my respect you are no better then a healing bot"
She said: "plz don't waste time and GO"
Me: "Sure, I'll Go. Sorry guys you were good DPSs"
I quit the duty, I am a whitemage but that person is a shame for being a healer.. God help the people who run with her.

I honestly don't know why they can't be just locked out of that particular instance they're voted out of. I mean if you're voted out, it's because the others don't want you there, and it's probably in your best interest not to be there too so why is it even possible for kicked players to keep going back in.
On the other hand though, I wouldn't want to be vote kicked because somebody didn't like the way my character looked at theirs and then be stuck with a 30 min. lockout from df over something silly. :/
