I wish Samurai class will be introduce in Heavensward

As the title wrote, I wish we can get SAM class in the next expansion. I hope it will be DPS role since DRK already Tank.

Anybody want to share anything, feel free to write. :)

In an interview or some sort of communication with Yoshi P recently he stated that purposed either Samurai or Dark Knight for the new tank class in Heavensward. Ultimately they decided on Dark Knight because it felt more fitting to the setting, and then Yoshi P said he thought Samurai seems more like a DPS job. He did go on to say that it will not be in Heavensward since they just released Ninja and he didn't want to release another Japanese style job so soon.

I too am greatly looking forward to when Samurai comes out. It's the job I'm waiting for in this game.

But we just got a (melee) DPS.

We need a Tank (DRK) and another healer first.

SAM on Heavensward would be awsome. That way SAM can be tank and DRK DPS

I have a question - I know we're getting a new tank and a new healer with the expansion, but are we also getting another DPS too? I know we've just got NIN, but I'm wondering..

Well, we are getting 3 new jobs at a minimum. Dark Knight confirmed, possibly Agent teased (is it a healer? is it a dps? all we know is it uses guns!), and one more yet to be revealed/teased. That might be it, or there might be more. Who knows!? I think it's incredibly likely there will be an additional dps. One hopes it's a caster at this point. Other than that, hopefully the existing casters get major revisions.

I'm eager for Samurai as well, however they implement it. A healer Samurai would be interesting.

They never announced 3 jobs though. Players only wanted to hear that so they did. Anyway, it surely won't be SAM because they said that an asian style job wouldn't come that fast after ninja.

Correct me if I'm wrong but IIRC in a live letter / interview / post on Reddit or so it's confirmed that Samurai won't be in Heavensward.
