So, there's just so much negative junk on the forums as of late. Cash Shop hissing, SSII healer catfights, (I'm assuming Nexus-caused) tank speed run table-flipping, wardrobe complaints, game tweaking demands, 'shiney' hardcore vs 'filthy' casuals, class vs class, relics (.....though I will silently join the grind-complaining *slowly raises hand*), etcetcetc... It seems as though everyone is at each other's throats.
Gaming communities are easily toxic, so why not post something expressly positive about anyone and everyone?
I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting really tired of seeing only complaint threads and not enough positive contribution.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a bunnies and rainbows kind of person, but jeeze. -_-
Soooooo, post your positive experiences, stories or moments or things - from in game/FFXIV - that have made you happy, or (positively =p) amazed, or laugh, or awesome parties or people you've met! Things that have made you proud or happily surprised at yourself for!
You know.... positive things!
Now excuse me while I insert bunnies and rainbows.

Okay, so here goes. I figure that I started this thread - whether it works or falls 46375843657483 pages into oblivion - so I might as well start the ball.
So, I was all proud of myself when I took my bard into Titan HM (my nemesis =_=) and pretty much dodged every aoe (for once... since I seem to suffer from positional lag) xD I'm usually eating every other WotE when I go on WHM >__<.
Downside is that the rest of the party died or was pushed off till it was just a dragoon and I poking around at Titan with just a tidbit of HP left... we clung to hope but er, yeah. My little myth-geared bardy ass and a DRG weren't going to take on Titan alone xD;;
We wiped, but it gave me confidence that it's not that I -can't- do Titan HM (WHMing) but I guess just a difference in circumstances or luck? Unfortunately I think I ended up with fight fatigue from concentrating o_O since I couldn't do as well in dodging, after that... but still! *pats self on head*
Also, watching a large tank and a lalafell DRG just turn and jump off the cliff consecutively to ditch a determined wipe - from something of a floor level view (:x I died in a different wipe) - is a hilarious thing to see. xD
And last story -
Did Labyrinth for the first time on my bard character (done it a lot on WHM) - one of our alliance's tanks, a WAR, had 10k-ish HP.
I have to say, they were badass for a good few bits of the raid.
-Behemoth fight: They took dem behemoth falling comets like pebbles (and killed everyone else not behind a rock)
-Acheron fight: While everyone was waiting on the platforms behind the shielding with Flare about to go off... they were the last one out, and got on the other side of the barrier JUST in time... but from where I stood it was a, "cool guys don't look at explosions" moment xD -

Here goes:
I was recently promoted to Brigadier General (3rd rank) in the best FC on Lamia! I love this FC, it's like having a second family and we all try to be helpful and supportive of each other. It really is a fantastic group of people, we also recently gained a few new members (someone even rejoined) so it's great to see us thriving. We're currently working on a gathering super team which I hope to be a part of once I reach 50 with my miner and possibly botanist. Also our fearless leader is an awesome 4-star crafter and a master crafter in all classes so that's awesome. Not to mention we have two houses, one FC house and another that's basically a night club for the members. We have our own website as well, it really is an awesome FC and I'm proud to be a member. -

I recently came back to the game. My FC got me caught up to them in Second Coil in a night and the following weekend got myself up to i109 Blm/Smn. Been leveling Ninja, which I am liking quite a bit. My FC isn't hardcore maybe slightly more than casual, but when I was on the game before I had a hell of a time getting a set schedule going. Since I left and my friend has had the FC they set up a couple night, but we got past a bunch of primals that people have been putting off doing.

To be honest every time I down extreme primal or new coil turn (atm still on T9 with my static) it feels so awesome. I am really looking forward that feeling when I finish T9 and enter FCoB. :)
