Recruitment question

I have yet to use a recruitment code and have a couple questions:

1. Does my 30 day time that comes with the purchase of the game count towards my "recruitment time"?

2. Do I have to be recruited by someone from my server to be able to get bonuses?

I'm not quite sure when exactly they're given out, but I do believe that you have to have an active subscription for a period of time before getting the rewards. And you don't have to be on the same server as the person you recruited.

Ah well that would be pretty pointless, i figure i will be way above 25 before I am here for 30 days being as I am already level 8 in about 2 days lol.

It will still be useful for other jobs, so there is that.

No, but one option (provided you've already decided you're going to want to extend your subscription past those first 30 days) is to use a game-time card. If you pay SE directly with a credit card, they'll only charge the card when the next payment is due, so there's no way to pay it early, and therefore no way to get the rewards early. If you pay through a third party by purchasing a game-time card, however, those can be added to your account at any time, and that way the next month or two worth of subscription is paid when you want it to be.

The recruit-a-friend code has to be entered AFTER you set up your account and register the game purchase to that account, but BEFORE you make your first subscription payment (a separate sub payment, that is, not including the purchase of the game and its included sub time). Then your rewards come once you make that first subscription payment.
