Do we have a date on Patch 2.5 yet?

I'm considering re-subbing at the moment for a few "small" reasons, of which I might then not be on XIV too much, but there are some things that with the updates recently on the 9th, would mean for me that I should come back now before the content is tired out a month or so from now. But I'd like to know if there is an estimate date for the next patch or not first.

Nope. They'll probably set at least an approximate date at the Japanese fan festival.

No. There is a live letter next Saturday so we might get a date for that patch during it. Best guess is mid to late January. With the expansion coming around end of April to early May perhaps.

Might be the first one I can actually be on here Live for, I've never watched any of them or been free when one was up because of the time differences, but it's like 5:30 PST or something right?

February/March. They never give exact dates more than a couple weeks in advance anymore. It might be different for 3.0 since there will be physical boxes of the expansion for sale in stores.

It's almost always 2-3 months after a 2.X5 patch, so probably late February, as in the very last week, if not early March.
