Lately I've seen a few characters handing around the Ul'dah Aetheryte on my server and seemingly teleporting without the animation. They all wear the same gear with plain names and appear roughly the same time as each other. I've seen some around Thanalan moving at a speed far greater than what I assume is given to players. Are these "characters" bots?
Is it worthwhile to report them or just a waste of time?
Usually you'll see groups of black mages in i90 gear botting, I don't know how often SE bans these bots but I don't see any reason NOT to report them unless you just don't have the time for it.
I think I saw three the other day in the main aetheryte plaza in Limsa they were all in level 15 gear and all three had the same cotton cowl on but when I examined them they were level 50 THM's (with level 50 crafted weapons) o.Oa All three also had the afk symbol over there head and they were twitching left to right in the same spot. After a minute they all stopped twitching and DC'd at the same time
