A few improvements I think may help!
I had a few suggestions that believe may improve this game and the impression it leaves upon people.
1. Balance the audio levels
- Whenever I am working on my fighting character classes I find that the victory music is insanely loud compared to the actual "fight" music and the fight music is very very quiet compared to the game music. (This could just be a problem with girdania or my comp but as an audio engineer it drives me crazy!)
2. Add a drag and drop system to the action bar.
- Man! That is really annoying to have to go through all of those hoops to switch around all of my abilities, when all I should have to drop is click, move and drop.
3. Give us the ability to add a "marker" to our maps.
- I would love this! I probably don't have the best memory in the world so I am constantly having to open up the journal and then the quest aaaand then the map to remember exactly where I have to go. Waaay easier if I can add a reminder marker so that I can just see it on my mini-map.
4. Get rid of "invisible walls"
- Now I know that this one really isn't all that important right now, but it certainly does impact the maximum "immersive realism" this game can achieve. In real life it would be like wanting to cross the street to get a taquito at the 7-11 and then not being able to get past the sidewalk... Not fun.
5. Add an in-game card game!
- I am sure this has been said before BUT HOLY SHIT! NO ONE EVER TALKS IN THIS GAME! I most of you guys are on linkpearls and such but still. I cannot even count how many times I was asking for some noob advice to experienced players and got nothing but a cold shoulder... AND THEY WERE MOVING! Gettin past that rant, I think that if thy implemented a small fun card game (similar to ff8 or if you actually understood it ff9...) that you could challenge other players and such. I think that may help people interact more. This IS an MMO right? Anyway I hope to hear some opinions on this!
Oh and btw I wrote this all up on my phone so if stuff don't make sense ask because I probably wrote gamer and my phone corrected it to something stupid like hambugersandwhich or some shit like that.
