Glamour restrictions, possible solution

Many people wish for the removal of glamour restrictions, but there are also people who'd prefer them to stay in place.
I think there's a way to make both sides happy AND avoid confusing new players.
Remove the glamour restrictions, and give us a checkbox in the options; "Display other player characters' glamour YES/NO".
This way, everyone could glamour whatever they want, everyone who wants to see other people's unrestricted glamour can do so a well, everyone who doesn't want to see tanks in mage gear, or mages in tank gear, can disable it and see everyone wearing just what they're really wearing.
Put this checkbox to default NO on a new account and no new player will ever be confused by encountering anyone wearing any sort of glamour that may not fit their role.
