xp scroll instead or raw xp as quest reward?

out of the 7 fighting classes I currently have 3 at rk 50 and the rest is bellow 22. I want to focus on crafting/harvesting so my other figthing classes will remain at this lvl for a while.
Nevertheless I still like doing quests, for the stories they tell but also for the fun of it.
I can easily do most quests with a rk 50 class, but when it comes to end the quest I am stuck with 3 choises:

1-end the quest with my rk 50 and loose the xp
2-keep the quest unfinished but with only 16 active quests, I will soon be unable to do more
3-abandon the quest.

why not change the system a little bit and give xp scrolls as reward instead of raw xp? this way, we could do all the quests we want and we could still be able to use the xp scrolls for another job when it reaches the proper lvl. Just make sure that rk 10-20 quest give a scroll that can only be used on a rk 10-20 class and that's it.

so you would have

quest 1-10 => reward: scroll lvl 1 usable by rk 1-10 classes
quest 11-20 => reward: scroll lvl 2 usable by rk 11-20 classes
and so on.

I guess you didn't know this but...

You can change classes before speaking to the person who you hand the quest in to. Then talk to them. Get SP on w/e class you're currently on. So effectively you can do all quests as R50 then turn around and hand it in as a R1 class if you wanted. This eliminates the need for SP Scrolls as a reward. I used this method to rank up my Marauder with storyline quests.

hmmm, I tried to do turn in a rk32 quest as 22 mrd and they didnt let me... I will try again. if it works as you say, then indeed, xp scroll are not such a good idea.

Unless you have all you rk at 50...

Make sure you have inventory slots when turning in quest. If your inventory is full and the quest give an item reward, you can't turn it in.

Also, I'm not sure if this rule applies to things like class quests. Those probably MUST be completed on their native class.

Class quests don't give SP. They only give guild marks.

Oh okay, so it's just story and side quests then. For which I know you can change and get the SP on w/e class you like.

That has been my experience. I haven't had a problem with switching classes for side quests and getting the XP where I want it to go.

In reci's defense, however, there may be a block on trying to get SP from a rXX quest with a class less than rXX, where XX stands for some number between 1 and 50. That would be something worth checking.

ok I tried again to turn in my rk32 quest as 22 mrd and it worked, got the xp. So I guess it was a bug or my i,ventory was indeed full as MariyaShidou suggested. guess that's it for the xp scroll then ;).

No, you get less SP if you're under the recommended rank for the quest but you can get the reward alright. For example if you're r20 and the quest is r25, instead of 2k SP you get 1.6k.
