I have FFXIV for ps4 and I wanted to try it on pc so I can play while my gf is on the ps4 and such.
1.So would I have to buy a whole new copy of FFXIV? If so how much does it cost now?
2.Would I be paying for 2 subs or just 1 since it's on 1 account, but I'll be playing on pc.
Yes you need to buy the PC version of the game.
You continue to pay for only one sub if you link your new PC version to your current SE account, allowing you to play your PS4 character on the PC. But you cannot play two characters from the same account at the same time. If your girlfriend wants to play with you, she'd need her own account.
You'd have to buy another game but would continue paying only one subscription.
Oh and the game is currently on sale. $9.99 on Amazon. So it's a nice time to buy!
