i am not entirely sure. but for your first one i think you are looking for custom emote. just type in-game /em and after a space just type what you want. so like "/em pokes you.", without the quotation marks, will show "Eraqus pokes you." to everyone.
as for you second one. just highlight your character and open the context menu. then select edit search info.
