Starting a dps class

Hi guys, I need a break from healling and I want to choose a dps class. Which is more fun and needed in groups: bards or ninjas?

I think bard its a lot better in groups...i mean to support...

I'd say bards are more desired because of the best raid utility in the game, but there's also alot of bards out there, so most groups might already have one. Ninjas aren't as essential to the group composition as bards, but still highly appreciated due to both high dps and good raid utility.

Which is more fun is just personal preference and entirely up to you. :)

I will also agree, Bards are always needed and especially for end game content.
Nin on the other hand does have some utilities and does a very good amount of damage.
I say level Archer/Bard up first since Raging Strikes and Quelling Strikes is great to have as cross class for other classes as well and then see if you like Archer in the meantime :)

I am/was a healer also, I am now leveling dragoon ^^ so far so good! It's quite refreshing after healing for so long

Black Mage is a fun ranged class. I think of it as... healing the boss with mine flames of annihilation.
