New Summoner Ability

Elemental Shift - This allows you to randomly switch out your correct pet with a pet of different element . giving it a power boost for 60 seconds upon summoning also making the pet summon instant no mana cost 300+ second re-cast time

Titan's Power of the Crag Buff - Increase's all nearby allies defense by 10% for 60s
Ifirit Power of the Flame Buff - Increases all nearby allies attack power by 10% 60s
Garada Power of the Wind Buff - Increases all nearby allies Spell Speed by 10% 60s
Ramuh Power of the levin Buff - Increases all nearby allies accuracy by 10% 60s
Levithan Power of the whirl Buff - Increases all nearby allies Magic defense by 10% for 60s
Shiva Power of the Frost Buff - Increases All nearby allies magic power by 10% 60s

buffs only happen when you use this ability force switch your pet

All I will say to this is No, just no.

If you want this then go play Final Fantasy XI

What I loved about Summoner in XIV was that it is a DPS class NOT a healer/support class like in XI

For the love of Hydaelyn I hope SE don't change this

Hope they add the new egis asap

And even then, XI's Summoner wasn't up to par in either Healing or Supportive aspects. :B

Wouldn't know to tell you the truth I stay way from the job because it was a healer/support job

SMN on XIV was really fun to level up its just hard to master for end game

Yeah... No. SMN is not meant to be a support class full on. The suggestions that you are giving would break what it is SUPPOSED to do. Sure they make for a good back up with the ability to revive but to take their focus away from dps is kind of dumb...

... Why you want Summoner become like Scholar?
