no, but in all seriousness could we please get a response that makes sense as to why Yoshi has refused to re-implement the amazingly awesome system of seek repairs?

I remember in 1.23 this it was probably one of the best ways to stimulate the economy as well encourage players to level crafts.

could we please get this function back?


list of possible improvements:

* in game economy stimulation
* socializing players people make more friends because people would be likely to interact
* apply the repair all from any job function to other players so say you are mid dungeon and one of your friends gear breaks because they have a lack of good judgement they could seek a repair and someone in party could bring their gear back.
* could also add the increased durability benefit to others seeking repairs as well but instead of 199% could probably just do 125%-135% which would be incentive enough to have players work together.

That doesn't seem realistic. With the menus that do exist, it makes no sense that the PS3 can't handle that function. PS3 just has longer load times. I wonder how many people play on the PS3 though. I strongly encourage any of hem to upgrade to the PS4. The experience is night and day.

I leveled all of my crafts for the purpose of repairing my own gear and melding my own materia.

I 100% support this feature! Would be immensely helpful in raids when people forget to repair before we head in! I always keep a full stack of each grade of dark matter in my inventory, so it works out well!

I miss my 1.0 days of running around Ul'Dah, repairing people from 99% to 100%, collecting my 200 gil, and silently moving into my next vict...customer.

People want repairs and they want them now. They don't want to afk overnight and hope someone walks by and wants to earn 1000 gil for repairing a bunch of gear. The current system is good. Crafter-players are rewarded with the ability to repair gear at a fraction of the cost of a mender.

I would be happy to repair my friends stuff as well.

Until the devs wake up on this, you can spam levequest and turn in HQ items for a VERY fast DoH level-up.
Ask a crafter friend to make the HQ or simply buy them off the auction house (costly though).

You just need level 40 to be able to repair all of your gear.

It really is annoying to be in a middle of a learning/progression raid session when someone goes "oops, I have to leave. I'm low on dura.." yet I'm over here repairing my own gear. They really should put that feature back.

Seems like that would be nice for sure.
As for encouraging to craft, not me i still hate crafting, lol
