Help building PC
Hi everyone, I'm a building my first gaming PC, and would like to know if any improvements can/should be made to this build:
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/F28hGX
Is there any way I could reduce the overall cost without sacrificing performance? Are there areas where I need to spend more? Will there be any compatibility issues, and will there be any spare ports using this build?
I want to be able to play games such as FFXIV, Ultra Street Fighter IV, and BF4 on maximum settings with no issues.
The case I want is not clearly listed on pcpartpicker.com so here's the link to it on Amazon:

I will be running Windows 8. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks :)

It's a great system. The only improvement I can suggest is invest in a ≥120 GB SSD. It doesn't even have to be a current-gen SSD. A Samsung 840 Pro or 840 EVO would be a worthwhile investment as your OS and video game drive. Use the 1TB as your storage for music, movies, photos, and documents.

Thanks for the response, I have now decided on a final build.

Poke around the other DX11 games you are interested in playing and let them be the metric over this game. XIV is still using a screwy DX9 implementation that doesn't get along too well with some of the last few generations of cards (particularly AMD). It's going to call for strong CPU/memory support more so than a strong GPU until SE gets off their duff and fixes the DirectX issues. As it stands right now, this game might fair better with a slightly older graphics card and a stronger i7 CPU. I get upwards of 40FPS on a 2012 laptop FFS.

SSD and maybe a better case. The rest is pretty decent.
