The dummy is merely simulating actual combat mechanics like it's supposed to.
Having to run away to deaggro it is meant to teach you how it would work against an actual monster. >_>
While I can get behind the QoL change for it (though it is FAR from necessary), I hate this sort of reply.
You shouldn't have to leave housing to access the market boards.
You shouldn't have to slowly tend to each planted seed one by one.
You shouldn't have to spend small amounts of gil to teleport.
You shouldn't have to repair gear.
You shouldn't have to waste a few minutes going from one end of the map to another.
You shouldn't have to retrieve gil from retainers to spend it.
And so on and so forth. See how pointless the "shouldn't have to" comments get? It goes nowhere, regardless of how valid the subject matter may or may not be.
