No emails being sent for brand new SE accounts (EU)

Just thought I'd give you a heads up. I have a pal who has been waiting on emails for his newly created Square Enix account for days now, he's tried three different email addresses. I just tried creating a second account with my (spare) googlemail address last night, still no email this morning. You could be losing a lot of potential subs because of this, thought I'd let you know!

I've been told by my friends that this seems to be a notable thing for gmail / googlemail, for what it's worth. They finally got an account working using Outlook.

When I attempted to sign up during the last free weekend, my google email would not receive anything. used my MS address with no problem.
