1) Why is the login server being DDoS'd result in all of NA dropping? Why isn't there authentication beforehand that will prevent unsubscribed accounts from even logging into a server.
2) Why aren't servers rolled back by 5minutes so that crafters don't potentially lose millions in items?
3) I am paying monthly for this service and right now i am expecting some kind of compensation because i and others are paying you to keep exactly these kind of things from happening.

Feels bad that this issue can potentially never go away unless the pranksters lose interest. They are making the game offer an unacceptable level of service and I don't think there's a failproof way to protect this because of the way the internet works. I really hope the culprits are identified and arrested.

In real world, even a physical equivalent of this wouldn't result in any compensation unless you had insurance, and then that would be between you and the insurance company. Last I checked there wasn't any MMO insurance, especially since you don't actually own anything in the game, even "your" character.
If service is interrupted for long enough, some companies will offer their customers a boon for their inconvenience, but legally they don't have to offer anything.
