Crystals, Clusters and Shards

I know there are ways to get shards and crystals and clusters, but it would be awesome if we could shatter Clusters into Crystals and Crystals into shards for use for crafting.

I find myself with a ton of Crystals and Clusters that I'm not really using all that often, but I am always needing shards and this would be a really nice feature to help with that.

I think part of the reason why they haven't implemented this is because the market values for Crystals, Clusters and Shards would all be linked.

This was mentioned multiple times for over a year now and there has been no word on this. Some people even suggested turning it into a mini game so it requires some work and affects the number of crystals you get from clusters and shards from crystals.
