Leveling question.

Alright I'm level 20 in both mining and botanist.. how many leves would it take to go from 20 - 50??

It took me 146 to get to lvl 50 botanist and I did provision dailies too :P. I also used the grandcompany survival guides from time to time

Oh.. alright.. I've been leveling both at the same time and just got 20 right now.. started at level 8 on both this morning I've only used about 34 allowances

Was thinking about just leveling one to 50 then going back to level the other.. I'm not sure what way is faster

I think either way will be same but for me it's better to have at least one of them on level 50 first so you can start getting clusters or the 1star nodes while working on the other class.

It's probably a lot of leves...just make sure to also do the GC provisioning turn ins everyday as well. You'll get a decent chunk of exp just mining/ harvesting the HQ items alone, and then turning them in is like a free leve's worth of exp (or 2 if it has a gold star). I tried to use my allowances as sparingly as possible, but I was also gathering items to later craft with.

I spent 2 weekends back-to-back and I was able to level miner and botanist with the number of Leves I had acquired from level zero. That said, I didn't just do Leves. I also did the class quests at each of the 5 levels as well as GC turn ins at HQ.

Its actually going to take the same amount of time but leveling in parallel is easier on the armory chest and will give you a few more materia.
