How many shards can you gather in 1 hour?

If you gather shards nonstop for 1 hour? how much can you get?
I'm really curious on how many you can get.

I think i get about 700-800 depends on the will I have

Depends nodes location, but around that numbers.
I plug my gamepad and watch a tv serie or a football match.

I hate farm fire and water shard, tomato relish needs a lot :(

Depends if have enough cordial to last u every cool down lol.
Use the repective element x3 buff on yeild or gathering attempts +1 nodes and u can probs hit a near 1000 i think.

60, because that's how many my retainer returns with when I send him out for shards lol

No way I'm farming those, so gruelingly slow X_X

With no buffs for increases what is about the shard/hour? Miner is at 33 for GSM materials (trying to keep them leveled at the same material/node requirements) and I need to farm shards :(

You mean before I get bored and do something else? About 200 then I'm buying Timeworn maps.

60 shards, 40 minuets, one venture.

I don't bother mining shards anymore, not even when map hunting.

That's about right, depending on the location. Can depend on how far you have to run from one node to the next, and whether there are any hostile mobs nearby. Sometimes it's quicker to do a circuit of 3 close nodes because they respawn when there's only one left. I gather up to 300 in one Eorzea day before I get too bored, then I go and craft something.

It's easier to do this while AFK most of the time doing something else, and just return when King's Yield has cooled down and use that to double the yield.

The double yield nodes (2 per hit) make cycling through 3 nodes better than grabbing all 4. Without the ward skill, you're getting 64 shards for every 12 nodes skipping one basic yield node every circuit. You get 60 shards in that same span doing all 4 nodes. Might not seem like a lot, but that's 640 and 600 shards for every 120 nodes. That's enough for roughly 4 artisan spectacles recipes. Pretty significant.

In one hour I can roughly mine 1000 shards. I use the 3 closest nodes along with the appropriate ward.
