How to keep track of the crafting books?

I took a break from the game. Now I'm lost. I have no idea which books I got.
Is there a way to see this in the game?
MY GSM looks as if I somehow unlocked higher lvl recipes but not the lower ones. At least I got some recipes for rings but don't have the ones for the stones needed in the rings...

Unfortunately, no, there's no way to tell in-game. Best I've found is on the Gamerescape wiki, where there are pages for most of the books (e.g. GSM demimat, GMS I GSM II), so you can compare what you've got to what's listed.

I, unfortunately, had the same problem. I bought the CUL Master I book twice because I'd forgotten I already had it.

Someone has suggested, the game keep track of purchases like that, so we CAN'T re-buy books we already bought...
