Alfgar is now giving this brand new achievement when you talk to him. Not sure when it started (i assume 1.18, when garlean armies started running in Horizon).
Anyone knows if doing the garlean army event there also gives achievement? I didn't had the chance of seeing the army still.
North of Camp Tranquil in the Shroud and North of Camp Horizon in Thanalan.
At times Garlean forces will appear in a behest like fashion. To fight them you have to speak to the nearby Militia Outrider to fight them.
When they withdraw, it's another achievement.
And when you win, a chest appears near the Militia Outrider with a few deaspected cristals (the grey ones, not sure of the name in english ^^) in it. Everyone one who participated in the fight can open "his" chest.
