Game unplayable third night in a row

Can we get any word on why, for the third night in a row, this game is unplayable due to lag and server time-outs? I'm on Siren. Even instances are out of the question.

Yup. Here on Excalibur 90k's everywhere.

When i'm finally able to get back in server, i get disconnected again after 5 minutes ><

when i am finally on a long off.....
i keep getting disconnected from the game.
this is not only me but a few of my fc & friendlist are getting disconnected constantly.
Please look this up.
If it keeps up, i don't think it's worth the penny to be paying for a game that keep
disconnecting us constantly.

Yea getting old fast we pay to play but yet cant play guess to SE it makes sence.

Got the same problem as everyone else here. Playing on Phoenix EU. Getting tired of the lag and dropouts, the game is getting unplayable. We are paying for this

We would like to take this opportunity to make a report regarding the login difficulties that took place over the last few days.

Currently we are experiencing DDoS attacks from　an anonymous third-party targeting the FINAL FANTASY XIV game servers on the NA/EU data center.

* What is DDoS Attack?
An attack attempting to increase the server load to an extensive level by flooding the network of the targeted servers using a massive number of computers.

However with the attack we are currently experiencing, only a massive number of access attempts are being made to the server where both character data and personal information of our customers are not in danger of being exposed.

Due to this attack, our game servers, network equipment and network connection are being hit with heavy load at an extensive level, which is causing a disconnection from the game and login difficulties.

Our technical staff is taking every possible measure to address this issue but the attack is still continuing to take place by changing their methods at every moment. We will continue to monitor and work on recovery from every possible angle.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing.

Solution to the problem...

Last night, everything was working perfectly for 95% of my night. Then, right before bed, I decided to do my Trials roulette before going to sleep.

Got in Ifrit HM, and within 45 seconds everyone was frozen and had DC signs over their heads. I ended up getting a 90002 error and gave up and went to bed.
