Target Not in Range

While doing Expert Roulette tonight (Qarn) I found myself getting the message Target not in range, however, since I was on brd this should not be a problem I had to get really close to the mob and even then I still was getting that message it made the run pretty unplayable. Just also tried it on lvl 10 Horizon mobs just to see if it was outside of the game and same problem. :(

EDIT: Logging a few times seems to have solved the problem.

is the option to auto face your target toggled off? Had the same thing happen a long time ago on BLM. The problem was more of not being able to see the target, but for some reason I wasn't getting that message but instead the out of range one. Might still be happening, who knows. We reported it over a year ago... but, this is SE.
