More talent and raid spots for end game raiders, more PF activity and larger late night crowd.
It's also the official Reddit server, so it'll attract that crowd as well. It's also one of the most populated non-legacy server too. Now Mr. Happy moved here as well, so that'll attract some additional people.
The community is also pretty diverse: role-players, casuals, hardcore, etc
I've been on Gilgamesh since I started shortly after release. Nest server ever
What the people above said - it's active, the Party Finder is always full of groups looking for people for endgame content as well as progression and learning parties, and IME most of the people have a pretty good attitude.
A lot of people from BG forums went there too originally when the game came out.
Lol best server ever, IMO the community is great. It's also pretty active for PF, most of the time parties fill quick or you'll fine one for whatever you're looking for. People are generally good, but as always, there are some that flat out are bad.
You'll see me in Mor Dhona most of the time :P Feel free to give a hug!
While it was already pretty populated, i like knowing there's many moving to Gilgamesh. Really enjoying that server. :)
I simply chose Gilgamesh mainly for the fact that it was my PS3 beta server, but even playing the full version on the PC I decided to stick with the community. It does help that it's also somewhat friendly to roleplayers, since that's within my interest, but it wouldn't have impacted my choice regardless.
Also super lag in the cities area that you barely can move.
