Crafting food could use an adjustment.

Making food can be a tedious process if you HQ every dish, but in order to maximize efficiency, you have to eat HQ food. Either food needs to be increased to three made per synthesis, or there needs to be an option to make up to 3-5 at the same time, similarly to the option to make multiple items that was in 1.0, or even just having multiple made at once like Alchemist's potions.

Another alternative would be to increase HQ food duration from 30 minutes to 60, or 90 minutes. That would be fair for the amount of work and time put into making sure you HQ everything. Another alternative would be to increase Meat and Mead II from 10 minutes to 30 minutes, though not everyone has access to Free Company buffs and increasing the overall duration of food would be best for everyone.

Food for crafters definitely could use a duration increase. With how long it takes to make 4 star mats (Arachne Velveteen, Kirimu Leather, Wootz Ingot, Platinum Ingots) to finally begin crafting the piece of 4 star gear of choice your food will be at less than 5 minutes left without Meat and Mead active.

I didn't specifically mean food for crafters. I meant all food, and especially the new four star recipes should last longer. Spending so much time to make food that lasts for 30-40 minutes is really rough.

Why they stuck with 30 minutes instead of 1hour is beyond me. Should be 1hour with FC Buffing that duration 30 minutes making the buff worthwhile.

I think one hour would be fair normally, without the FC buff, for HQ foods, and then make it an hour and a half with the FC buff.

Shark Fin Soup requires a Megalongdong. The recipe only produces 1 serving. Flint Caviar requires an Emperor Fish, but produces 3 servings.

The difference? Stars.

You'd think a "massive fin" could make more than one serving.

My point is: the durations are fine, but the serving size for one recipe is wack.

But I agree. As it is, it seems just... meh.

And I'd say that the "furniture food", the ones you can place in your house, ought to have a longer duration in itself. The shortest dungeon/trial is 60 minutes, but the food only last for half of that? And you can't exactly go back to your house mid-duty to eat some more, either XD

(And HQ buff potions ought to have a slightly longer duration too, IMO, but that's a slightly different discussion.)

Nobody else feel this way?

NQ, no buff - 30 minutes
HQ, no buff - 40 minutes

NQ, buffed - 50 minutes
HQ, buffed - 60 minutes

Just my two cents. I personally feel that HQ food should not only be better, but last longer.
