Perhaps it is because I enjoy the roleplaying scene on my server, but back in 1.0, I really liked the idea of real-time ferries. Going from Limsa to Thanalan was a real treat, even if I sometimes missed the ferry by a few seconds. It was fun to interact with players, both in and out of character while we waited to cross over to where we needed to go. I really would like to see these back in the game at some point!
