Gathering stats don't add up.

The gathering nodes that state that your intelligence/strength need to be equal or greater than 202 to get the +1 attempts in both Northern and Southern Thanalan don't add up. Since at lvl.50 I only hit 200 in both of those attributes.

I don't know if this is a glitch or an oversight, or maybe I'm the one that's glitched. Either way, I don't see the point in melding strength and intelligence into my mining and botany gear, or switching rings every time I hit these nodes.

Every race is affected by this in at least one stat. As a Wildwood Elezen, I lack the STR needed for the +1 node in Northern Thanalan. Easy solution? Meld a dirt cheap materia to an accessory.

Ah, that makes sense. I couldn't figure out why I suddenly couldn't get the bonus. I did change my race a couple months ago which would explain that, but it's still annoying though. Thanks for the explanation :)
