New bazaar icons, a system to make bazaars useful (DEV1123)

Everyone know the chances of selling your stuff via bazaar are slim to none. Even checking bazaars seems to become a thing of the past.

I was thinking if there were several different icons to choose from that would best describe your goods people would take more chances checking people to see if they have what they want.
If your selling food, have a picture of a type of food.
If your selling armor, have a picture of a type of armor.
If your selling crystals/shards, have a picture of a crystal.

Anyway you get the point.
Not only do i think this is a good idea, but I think SE must do it out of necessity.
I dont want my bazaar being a trash can full of broken equipment all the time.

yeah it could be useful i'd say. Like they can keep the same bag icon but you could add one of the little icons you suggested at the bottom right.

I was originally thinking of just changing the bag out to whatever you want, once implemented everyone would know what they are and 2 icons may be cumbersome. But, 2 icons would work and would still get the job done so I"d be in favor of either of these methods being implemented.

well I was thinking the second icon would be over the 1st and smaller so it would still be just 1 icon. I just prefer the little bag meaning bazaar than having a Sword/Food/Crystal icon. Unless these said icons were well done and really looked like you are selling these type of goods.

Not sure I express it well but I just mean even if we all knew that having a food icon next to your name meant you were selling food, inherently a food icon doesn't evocates "selling food".

Gotcha, i can see how some players may also just be turned off by have a drumstick next to their name lol. Anyways, im sure if they implemented this they would do a good job of making it visually pleasing /cross fingers. Im just glad i could bring an idea to the table that i don't believe has been mentioned before since anything and everything seems to have a thread already.

Good ideas here, i guess im comfortable about the design, but my only complaint is, i want to browse a bazaar while moving. Doesnt have to be from a great distance, but if im looking a at someones bazaar and they run off, i cant buy anyting because they have reached the distance limit and now i have to chase them down....it seems a little wierd, but thats me >.<

yea, once you are in someones bazaar you should be able to search it until your done. IM sure this would be an easy fix too, they would just have to adjust the disengage range for it, i think.
