True Ice Shield amazing?

Is this the new shield to have? High block rate vs Str debate go!!!!!

True Ice shield is awesome for fights like T11.

Fair point, +1 VIT/STR isn't actually that big of a deal. I suppose it depends on if the fight is more auto attack focused or high damage spike focused. I think the i130/i135 shields are worth it over the Ice Shield, though. Don't think the RNG mitigation of block is worth it over +3/4 STR and +4/5 VIT - but y'know, to each their own on that one. Jumped the gun a bit on HA > Ice, admittedly.

Wonder if anyone will do some shield testing for us lol :P

Bucklers are trash. This isn't even a debate, do the math. Kite is always more mitigation.

sadly ilvl does mean something..the base stats will be higher :/ I can't wait until they stop raising the ilvl and such ^^

The OPs signature and him not mentioning the deadwyrm shield makes me question if this is an elaborate troll.

It's nice for one pulling to the boss in dungeons on my casual PLD. If you had better than this you wouldn't be wasting your time in dungeon either so its a great budget item for social and alts.

They did stop raising the item level for this game. It's wont go above i135 ....until the expansion next spring when they raise the level cap. This is World of Final Fantasy Craft.

The vit, str, parry ect stats on a shield dont really amount to much. The real argument would only be between higher block str/higher block rate.
