[Personal] PvE Progression VS Crafting
Lodestone Profile: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...acter/5710448/
Hello,
It appears that I am now finally reaching the end of all classes / jobs being capped. Personally, I find myself at a fork in the road at this point in the game. This is my first MMO experience and I lack the foresight of some of you long time veteran MMO players. Any advice, big or small would be greatly appreciated.
So, I have to ask you all. Should I focus more on endgame raiding, or furthering my DoL / DoH? Obvious answer would be “Do what you enjoy more!” but I know better than that. Looking at the usual post in the forums, I am finding a lot of threads being created about people not being able to clear old content due to a lack of static or people joining pf learning groups. That said I find crafting to take too much of what little time I play during the week. Time I could be using to learn said PvE content while it’s still fresh and easy to find parties.
My biggest fear is getting too far back from being able to do content as it comes out, while also being too far back from crafting anything profitable and saving enough gil to buy a small plot and other vanity based items.
Let me know what you guy's think I should place more focus on. For PvE I'm currently on Ramuh Ex & T8. For crafting I still have a few classes to level from 30-50 but I am starting to SB gear to meld to my DoH / DoL gear.
