When I aethernet to The Brimming Heart Subdivision in The Goblet the music changes to something that sounds like a xmas music, it's only happening in the subdivision, the main goblet and the event zones of the three city states are still normal.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Yup; I hear it too. I usually play with my music off, But I went and checked it out and the christmas event music is playing in the subdivisions of the Goblet at the Brimming Heart Waypoint.
yup the music different there, it much nicer to listen to though.

It's indeed true - I just checked it then and the BGM for that subdivision is Nobuo Uematsu's Starlight Celebration, the theme from 1.0 and ARR's Christmas event. Presumedly it's a bug (as I noticed recent seasonal events did have seasonal music playing in certain sections of each residential area like the Goblet, but this is kind of jumping the gun a little. :p). It will probably be patched quickly but still funny none the less. :p
Reminds me of FFXI's Diablos Boss in Dynamis, that played the xmas music instead of some tough, scary music like every other boss.
I hope this is the music we get this year.
I really like the Snowcloak music. I wouldn't say it's necessarily Xmas themed, but I'd sure listen to it if someone slapped it on an Xmas playlist ^_^
