Item Capacity for houses
I'm not sure how it is for the smaller houses or medium houses, but the item limit for large homes is 200 pieces. I was wondering, and hoping, there were plans to increase the item capacity for homes. In the large houses we have a lot of room, but not really enough item capacity to fully furnish each room the way we would like to. At least, that is my opinion on it. Decorating the house is really fun and it's become a really fun hobby for me to do in the game so I'm sincerely hoping there will be a way to increase the item capacity.

Yeah large does need more slots. Medium is just about fine for the inside, but they might need some more slot for the lawn. They need a square meter(yalms?) to slot ratio figured out.

The current limit has been discussed quite regularly in the past. As far as I know, there are no plans to currently upgrade the limit.

You can actually decorate the large mansions pretty well with just the current limit. The limit generally becomes an issue when people turn the mansions into giant apartment complexes and wall off every 8 feet or so or want to hoard every single item there is.
Mansions are suppose to be pretty open with few items in between to produce the effect of vastness, which gives you a sense of just how large the mansion is. I've walked in to several medium homes and they feel far smaller than some of the small houses when everything is walled off or over crammed with items.

I am but a new home owner, and I only have a small cottage. That being said, the 100 item limit for the interior is easily enough for that size house. Given how much larger the mansions are I am frankly amazed they only have double the number of items I can use.

The result is almost completely empty mansions, and a lot of people wanting to place personal items to which they cannot. It's a real buzz kill.

Yup :( It really limits creativity sadly.
