Questions on 2.4 path and gear from returning 2.1 player
Hi everyone,
I have recently come back and am close to having each craft class 50. I have about 1m gil to work with and no gatherers (yet) so I rely on MB.
First question:
After doing a lot of reading on the new stuff to do, it looks like this the basic path. Am I correct?
1* jewelry and belt
1* clothes
1* secondary
2* artisan specs
2* primary
supra
3* secondary
4* clothes
Second question(s):
Because I want to do this for all classes, eventually, and I have a budget I would prefer to not make and meld the class specific i55 clothes and instead work with 1 set of melded patrician. I also would prefer to sell the first few IV materia I get, so I would be attempting this with III and below.
Is this even possible? Or is it mandatory to go the i55 clothes route? If I go the class clothes route could I get away with III materia?
I am solo leveling an fc and should at some point have the fc level 5 actions. Level 8 are probably not going to happen, ever.
Edit: I should note that I only care about being able to make the stuff, not being able to macro them or even make money with crafting (yet). I get the feeling the macros people post have much higher requirements than the manual rotations I would use to build my stuff. I hope so anyway, some of those requirements are very high.
